Our Mastery program is dedicated for our older and most invested players, marking a transition from deliberate play towards deliberate practice; chiseling out and fine-tuning critical factors in technique, situational awareness, and physical - mental readiness.
DG Mastery is for our students that seek golf competency for life all the way to a successful campaign at the high school, college, and professional ranks.

DG Mastery - Lake Bluff is created and run by DiscoverGolf Founder Richard Franklin. Richard Franklin is widely regarded as one of the top junior golf coaches in the country, with over 20 years of experience working exclusively with juniors.

We don’t pin up our college scholarships … we simply invite kids 12 or over to use golf as a medium for self-mastery, and are looking to answer the question “How good can I get? ””

Membership Access: It’s one thing to learn the swing; it’s quite another to independently forge it. For our most serious players, we offer keyless entry to use the facility during non-class time.
Private Coaching : Our group training programs are crucial for comprehensive covering of all skills and is the backbone of the Mastery Program. Some of our players would do well with supplemental private coaching for additional refinement and or a deep dive into a certain skill dimension.
